CONNECTIVE TISSUE CONTINUITY: DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF SOMATIC DYSFUNCTION

II. STABILIZING THE PELVIS

LIGAMENTOUS ARTICULAR STRAIN

INTRODUCTION

This course is designed to meet expanded needs of professional practitioners of Osteopathy and Osteopathic Medicine. In the acquisition of basic knowledge and the development of professional skills, all professionals need to pause, reflect, review and expand their basic and acquired knowledge. It is for this reason that the course title Osteopathic Theory, Methods and Practice has been chosen. The content to be delivered in this course is intended to address professional practitioners appropriately credentialed by their respective governing bodies.

The emphasis in this course will be placed on the lower half of the body:

➢ Thoracolumbar Junction➢ Lumbosacral Junction
➢ Lumbar spine/Sacrum➢ Innominates

➢ Lower Extremities

On each day of the course (three days), five (5) major topics will be presented. The context of presentations will favor the traditional osteopathic concept of connective tissue continuity and will reference largely to Fascia Research Congresses (2007-2012).
